Trips

One of the best parts of being a MaasSAC member is that you can join our amazing trips. In a normal year we organize weekend trips to climbing sides in Belgium and Luxembourg, spend long weekends in Fontainebleau and arrange a yearly trip to the Calanques.

Fontainebleau

Fontainebleau is probably the biggest and most developed boulder area in the world. From surprisingly hard 5+ to some of the hardest boulders in the world, Bleau has more routes than you could climb in a lifetime. Our Boulder Committee Bambi organizes multiple trips over the course of the year to Fontainebleau.

Calanques

Located between Marseille and Cassis the Calanques are a unique Nnational park with hundreds of breathtaking cliffs residing over the mediterranean . There are hundred meter high multi-pitches directly over the water as well as a bunch of beautiful cracks for beginners.

MaasSAC organizes a week-long trip to Calanques over the carnival-break in February / March. While the nights are cold, rain is rare and on Sunny days the weather could not be better for climbing. You cant climb outdoors yet ? We normally offer a Outdoor Course for all Indoor Lead Climbers joining.
